So, as you can tell by the pictures that were last posted, we have been running like crazy! Well, Aaron has been running like a fool and the rest of us have been running like chickens with our heads cut off trying to keep up with him!! lol As most of you know, Aaron is still a firefighter for the city and is still enrolled in school full- time working on his pre-med! Crazy, I know, and yet he still finds time to train and run these 1/2 and full marthons! He especially enjoys triathlons, but his last one was cancelled unfortunately, due to too much rain! :( On the subject of school, we did get some good news, Aaron does qualify to graduate in May 2010! However, here's the catch, we will still have to stay in Wichita for another year because he is unable to take the M-CAT for early admittance until then also and he is required to wait a year until starting medical school.:( But he I think has sold himself on doing the Scholars of Rural Health program to become a shoe-in into Kansas University Medical School! (cross our fingers and say lots of prayers!) Ella is working on potty training! I'm not completely sure if I have the energy for all of this yet, but hopefully I can suck it up and assist her now so big girl panties won't be delayed!!! She is talking like crazy and loves to sing songs and carry Mommy's purse around! Colin is talking non-stop, but I am loving it! He too thoroughly enjoys singing all day loonnnggg! But it is very enjoyable! He has a crush on one of the girls that we have watch the kids occasionally so we can have date nights, she goes to school at Newman also and lives on the first floor of the same dorm building as us!! So for the second time now, the other night, he was trying to persuade me to let him stay up later and kept asking me for different things! After a few requests of using the bathroom, a cup of milk, more kisses, and another prayer, he requested Theresa sleep next to him!!! lol! I chuckled and responded with, "not for a few more years, pal!" So that sums up our lives lately and I hope you all are doing swell! Much love, the McKinney's ;o)

My Amazing Life
Okay, so here goes! I am trying to de-stress and so I am forcing myself to create a list of why I love my life (the way that it is now)! So bear with me everyone! -my family, my friends, freedom of speech, I'm a mom, I have a son and a daughter who love me unconditionally, I am a child of God, we're not too far from family, freedom of religion, we have a place to call home (may be small, but it's temporary:)), we own our vehicle, I have a Father in Heaven, I have a temple recommend, I am proud to be temple- worthy, I feel peace when I read the Book of Mormon, my children laughing, my husband's corny jokes, nightly strolls with my kids in the stroller laughing at eachother, holding my husband's hand, my husband's arm around my waist, pedicures, manicures, yoga, day after Thanksgiving shopping, who am I kidding- shopping in general, fixing my hair, long relaxing baths, traveling, Chicago, Nauvoo, Oklahoma City temple, Winter Quarters temple, Manti temple, New Mexico, praying to my Heavenly Father, my health, my kiddos love for their family and friends!!!
