SPRING!!!

I really do enjoy this time of year! The weather is so nice, I enjoy watching the trees swaying with the wind, flowers blooming, the grass growing, the smell of rain, and kids' drawings on the sidewalk with all colors of sidewalk chalk!!! I would have to say my all- time favorite part of spring is my kids', my husbands, and my birthdays! For those of you who don't know, we have a pretty interesting number game with our birthdays! It goes like this Ella was born 3/11/07 then, exactly 23 months prior Colin was born, 4/11/05! Now Aaron was born on 3/21/81 and then I was born on 5/21/84! So the kids are both on the 11th and Aaron and I are both on the 21st, also, our birthdays are March, March, April, and May! So, now it is nearly May and I am finally losing all of the prior baby weight, thankfully!- which means it's time for us to start trying for another baby!!!- Yippee!! Because I have been advised to only give birth one more time it's the perfect time! If we get pregnant in May then our baby will be born, most likely, in February, and hopefully on the 11th! Fortunately I can pretty much pick the day I deliver so we all know I will choose the 11th! On another note, we obviously have been very busy with our family parties and such! We celebrated Aaron's birthday with the Durham's, some friends of ours from Auburn Hills ward! Elicia is amazing and really surprised Aaron with his birthday meal- some of his favorites!- spaghetti and meatballs, pork rinds, fruit salad, jello, lemonade, breaded chicken, mashed potatoes, salad! It was all so delicious! Thank you, Elicia!! For Colin's birthday we had a fire truck theme party! I made a 3-D fire truck cake, slightly challenging, but Colin was absolutely ecstatic and in awe! We had a fire truck come to his party, it was supposed to be a quint, but they had to make a call so it was a little disappointing for me, however the squad still came! The kids really enjoyed trying on the gear, spraying water out of the hose, and checking out the lights and sirens!! To top it all off the kids all got to hit the fire truck pinata and got tons of candy! I think Colin will remember this party forever, okay well maybe not, but he had a blast!

Wow!

I am really starting to realize this blogging thing isn't quite for me! I love doing it, don't get me wrong, it's just remarkably hard to stay on top of. Well, we held Ella's birthday party, Aaron's party, and now we are preparing for Colin's party!! Which might I add is soo much fun this year! He is really excited about everything this year!- I thought last year was fun, but this year has definitely got it beat! Every commercial that comes on, Colin says, "I want that, buy that for my birthday, Mommy!" My favorite commercial for something that he requests EVERYTIME is a Toro lawn mower, don't ask me where he is going to play with that at!- It's not like we have a yard to mow while we are living in the dorms! But it is hilarious anyway!!!
